St. John’s Sr. Sec. School & Jr. College is the grass root organization, which has a tradition of excellence, both academically and in various extra-curricular activities, that is a source of pride to the community, the students, the faculty, and the alumni. It was established in the year 1968 and is recognized as the pioneer CBSE schools of Chennai. It emphasizes on holistic excellence of children catering to their academic as well as Co-curricular needs. Although the image is most frequently focused on the competitive achievement in sports, music, debate and other activities, the school commands respect for its academic achievement and its nurturing of outstanding leaders and good citizens. We are proud of our fine record of providing opportunity for all our students to enjoy learning and to achieve success. The last two years have been challenging to St.John’s because of Covid-19; the challenges were increasing exponentially within a short span of time; this disruption demanded the highest “physical proximity,” meaning technical team and teachers interact closely to be equipped digitally and face the challenges boldly though social distancing was the norm. St.John’s finally braved through the storm and outgrew in all domains by exploring, innovating and by ramping up both the infrastructure and digital facilities. VISION To enable each Johnian to complete his schooling with confidence, enthusiasm, high self-esteem, and a readiness to meet new challenges.
