Sree Jain Swetambar Terapanthi Vidyalaya

In the year 1915 the then 81 renowned and respectable families of the Teropanthi Community, took o brave, wise, revolutionary and historical decision to come out from the pin pointed area of sector of the narrow religious field to the wide scope with nobler views and greater ideas to render their valuable services for the social welfare of the Community. Accordingly, they contributed and established “Sree Jain Swetamber Teropanthi Vidyalaya hereinafter referred to as the said Vidyalaya (Society) l and for which no one can forget the said generous, broad minded and illustrious sons along with distinguished 81 families and the “Samaj Sevi, Late Seth Raichandji Surana”, Of Churu, Rajasthan. 

The aforesaid social organisation, in order to implement its aims, object, principle and ideas etc, had founded and started “The Lamp of Light” i.e. “Deep-Shikha” for Boys’ w.e.f. 14th day of May, 1916 which later on became popular under the name and style of Sree Jain Swetamber Teropanthi Vidyalaya (Boys’ High School) after that Within a period of 5 (five) years of Independence of the country the then well-wishers of the community, considered the dire need of the day and started to impart women education with only 5 (five) girls’ students in the academic year 1950-51. Gradually the said Girls’ School become popular under the name and style of Sree Jain Swetamber Teropanthi Vidyalaya (Girls’ High School) for which no one can forget the ” brave “, • benevolent ” wise ” and ” Iron Mon Sri Bhairudan Pagaria, the then Hony. Secretory of the Vidyalaya (Society), having his native place at Ladnun, Dist. Nagore in the State Of Rajasthan. In the year 1959 – 60, the Primary School and in the year 1977-78 Sishu Vibhag (Nursery School) were also established. Moreover, to upgrade the discipline, decorum and education standard, the below noted bye-laws or sub- rules are quite essential to be followed and maintained strictly not only by the students but also by the guardians/parents and the school staff.

Initial school education reflects the growth of society and the foundation for this is laid in primary years of education. These are the formative years during which children pick up habits, develop concepts and skills that last them throughout their lives.

To maximum learning benefits, a sincere and disciplined approach to regular studies, homework, submission and time management is expected from all students.
