Our Rev Founder, the great souled saint and visionary educationist, Gurudev Sadhu Vaswani, firmly believed that Education is the ultimate means of transforming young minds and galvanizing the youth to work for the glory of India. Following in his footsteps, Dada J.P Vaswani asserts that true education; NEW education which is based on spiritual unfolding and a training of the hand-head-and-heart of the students can transform the world we live in by making youngsters sensitive and receptive to their roles as builders of the future of nations. There is indeed a lot to be said for the rapid strides our Indian education system has made today. But sadly, current education has sharpened the intellect, but hardened the heart. Envy, jealousy, lust and greed for money are ruling public life. Man, slumbers in the darkness of ignorance – avidya. ​What can awaken man from this senseless slumber? What can infuse the spirit of true knowledge in his darkened mind? The answer is clear for all of us to see: A New Education that emphasizes life rather than livelihood; an Education that is not just a withered parchment, but the living waters of the spirit! This dream is being fulfilled in all our Sadhu Vaswani Institutes. Dada Vaswani believed that Real India resides in villages and to develop it, we have to start with the right kind of education. It was in pursuit of this mission that Sadhu Vaswani Gurukul, Manjari was established in the lush greenery of rural Pune where we are making a humble effort to pass on value-based education based on the principles of beloved Dada J.P Vaswani’s teachings where the emphasis is not only educating the hand and head but also the HEART.
