Rockwoods School

Rockwoods School, Nagaram (formerly known as Rankers School) is established by NITians and Doctors. Both Mr. Rama Naidu M and Mr. Subrahmanyam Rangineni along with their friends have established Rockwoods Group of Institutions in 2002 with the intent of preparing children intensively for the competitive examinations. Both the founders have achieved academic excellence in their educational institutes, and both of them have left their lucrative corporate jobs in a pursuit of bringing out academic excellence in upcoming generations.

Rockwoods School, Nagaram offers from Nursery to Grade X in CBSE board pattern. Rockwoods focuses highly in building 21st Century Skills like Problem Solving Ability, Communication Skills, Critical Thinking Skills and Observation Skills etc. We believe in building well designed academic years plans and implementing the same throughout the academic year. We believe in training teachers on a continual basis to bring out the best in the classrooms.

We implement the following in our school for effective teaching and learning.

1. STEM - based learning with Science and Mathematics kits for a natural understanding of concepts and real-life experiences

2. Digital Classrooms (TV/Touch screen board and a TAB to every teacher) to achieve NEP learning goals

3. CBA - Competency Based Learning and Assessment as per NIPUN Bharat and SAFAL Guidelines where learning happens to improve HOTS (Higher order thinking skills) of the child

4. Eloquence / Oratory Skills and focussing on every child through TEDEx like programmes

5. To instill the right “Moral and Ethical” values along with yoga, meditation, healthy diet, narrating moral stories and guest lectures to enhance personality development and optimistic thinking of the child in order to make wise choices in their lives
