Hartley’s School is a co-educational institution, under the Aegis of Hartley Higher Educational Trust. The Higher Section is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education & West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Hartley which is one of the oldest institution of the city was founded in the year of 1934 by Mrs. P Hartley, aimed to educate the young minds. With the course of time reputation of Hartley grew and new sections were added under its umbrella. Presently it has a Montessori Section, Primary Section, Secondary Section & Higher Secondary Section.The main new campus is located at 56C Garcha Road, Montessori section is a stone throw away at 57/1 Garcha Road Kolkata 700 019. Our school is highly accessible from South, Central, East and West Kolkata and the surrounding suburbs. The Trustees at Hartley always thought that the object of education was to prepare the young in such a way that they could educate themselves throughout their lives and for more than 85 years, the Hartley Trust has kept this philosophy alive and running.
