Gopal Sharma International School (ICSE) started in the year 2006, is an extension to its already renowned and established Gopal Sharma Memorial School , Powai English High School(both catering to state board education) and the Chandraban Sharma Junior and Degree College.The institution – Gopal Sharma International School is a dream nurtured by our Principal , Mrs.Gool Ghadiali , which has materialized and is taking shape in the form of our school named after our mentor Late. Shri Gopal Sharma. It is a co-educational school and is open to children of all communities managed by a team of dedicated and committed staff. Excursions, visits to places of interests, city exhibitions, plays, and films on classics are also conducted. Affiliation The pupils are prepared for the Indian Certificate Of Secondary Examination by the ICSE Board- New Delhi The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendation of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination will ensure a general education and all candidates are required to enter and sit for seven subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination is a school examination and the standard of examination presupposes a school course of Ten years duration (Class I-X). The school year begins in March and terminates in February.
