2+ Best Nursery Schools in Borivali West, Mumbai 2027-28

Nursery is most families' first school experience, and choosing right matters more than most parents realise. The age cutoff at nearly every school is 3 years completed by March 31 of the admission year — children born after April 1 will typically need to wait a year. Admissions open between October and January, with forms filling up fast at popular schools. Under RTE, 25% of seats in private schools must go to economically weaker sections — these applications run on a separate government portal in most cities. Beyond the form, schools assess parent–school fit through interaction rounds, so visit 3–5 schools before applying. Fee structures at Nursery level vary widely: from ₹20,000/year at budget schools to over ₹2 lakh at international-curriculum schools in the same city.
