764+ Best Class 7 Schools in Kondhwa Bk, Pune 2027-28

Class 7 lateral admissions are available at many schools, but seat availability is unpredictable — sections are already formed and vacancies only arise when existing students leave. The process is similar to other lateral entries: TC, Class 6 report card, and a short informal assessment. Mid-year transfers in Class 7 are especially tricky since the syllabi between CBSE, ICSE and State Board schools diverge noticeably by this stage; confirm the new school's academic pace before switching mid-year. Parents moving cities between academic years (April–June) have the best chance of finding Class 7 vacancies. Some schools charge a higher one-time admission fee for lateral entries than for Class 1 or 6 admissions — check this in advance.
