764+ Best Class 6 Schools in Infotech Park Hinjawadi, Pune 2027-28

Class 6 is a significant milestone — the start of middle school — and many of India's top schools open fresh admissions here to form new sections. This makes Class 6 the most actively recruited lateral entry point after Class 1. Schools that go only up to Class 5 (primary) or start from Class 6 (secondary) typically run formal admissions with aptitude assessments covering English, Mathematics and logical reasoning. Admissions usually open January–March for the next academic year. Children must be 11 years old. For students moving from a primary school to a full-school (Class 1–12) institution, Class 6 is the natural entry year — ask about the size of the new batch and how many students are already internal promotees from the same school.
