764+ Best Class 2 Schools in Prince of Wales Drive Road, Pune 2027-28

Class 2 lateral admissions depend entirely on seat availability — schools only take new students when an existing student leaves. This makes the process less predictable than Nursery or Class 1 admissions. Most schools assess lateral transfer candidates through the child's previous year report card and an informal interaction; a written test is uncommon at this age. The process is typically faster than Nursery admissions — decisions within 2–3 weeks rather than months. Families who relocated after the main admission cycle, or who want to move their child from a school they're unhappy with, find Class 2 a practical entry point. Before applying, call the school's admission desk directly to confirm a vacancy exists — it saves time.
